Los Angeles Flute Choir
The Los Angeles Flute Choir is dedicated to creating an inclusive musical community by making flute-playing accessible and joyful for adult flutists of all levels.
Flutes of the Californias is a collective of flutists and composers from Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Irvine, San Diego, and Ensenada (MX). The impetus for our first concert was the commission by the National Flute Association of Julia Wolfe’s Oxygen, which received 12 local premieres and one combined premiere (144 flutists).
